Elephants are said to be very big, very strong and do not forget – hence the name of ElephantDrive.com. The company asserts that it strives to give businesses and individuals the ability to protect and access their data with enterprise-class management, backup and storage.
As such, ElephantDrive is a website that offers secure data backup for MS Windows, Android Beta and Mac as well as network-attached storage. The cloud-based system backs up your files and delivers them to devices on your cloud, including your laptop, smartphone and tablet.
Downloaded files can be accessed from any device with internet capability and does not require software in order install, download or access the files. Those with business memberships can also share and download files from the group system.
There are three membership levels on ElephantDrive – Lite, Personal, and Business:
The Lite Membership is a free membership that includes 2GB of storage space, cloud synchronization, automated backups and easy file sharing and sending.
Personal members get between 100 GB and 2 TB of space and can utilize up to three different devices for storage. This membership also includes automated backup, easy file sending, bigger file size limits and automatic synchronization. The Personal Plan starts at $9.95 per month for 100 GB of storage and goes up to $169.95 per month for 2 TB of storage.
Business memberships are good for offices or groups that need large amounts of storage space and sharing. The plan offers between 50 GB and unlimited space, multiple users, easy file sending, unlimited devices, server OS support, synchronization and both open and locked file support. The Business Plan starts at $25.00 per month for 50 GB of storage and goes up to $115.00 per month for 250 GB of storage.
Since many customers may have questions, the company also offers a knowledge base and support center on their website. This area helps customers find answers to most questions, as well as online tutorials on how to set up your account, download and install ElephantDrive, backup your system, share, and access files.
While ElephantDrive is still a relatively new business and service, customers seem pleased so far and have posted favorable reviews.
